The great thing about walking the dog in the village orchard is the nice people and dogs that we meet. Although we've only been here a few weeks it now seems to be a routine that we meet Jim, Patricia & David on a Sunday morning. Jim is partially sighted and has Zelda his fully trained guide dog. Patricia & David train the dogs and have two trainee puppies - Bennet & Archie. Mortimer loves all three and tears around the apple trees with them.
This week they taught him a new skill - I confess not one I want to encourage - hole digging! At first a puzzled on looker Mortimer quickly got the hang of it!
